The United Way of Metropolitan Nashville is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead all marketing, public relations and branding strategies for the agency.
Develops and implements marketing strategies and activities to achieve objectives of the organizational strategic direction and resource development tactical plan. Directs and coordinates activities to pilot new channels of giving and engagement utilizing research; technology such as the website and other social media; and traditional communications and fundraising methods including direct mail and special events. Provides internal and external marketing communications support to other departments as assigned. Works with advertising/public relations vendors, and other vendors in support of products. Includes public relations, promotional activities, events and working with purchased advertising.
The role of the Community Impact Manager is to support the Financial Stability focus area within United Way’s Outcome-Based Investment process, and its community impact activities. In addition this position leads UWMN’s 2-1-1 initiative, serves as liaison with 2-1-1 operations partner and is responsible for natural disaster response community involvement.
Assist with Metro Government (MECCC) and Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) Employee Giving Campaign, including donor relations development and overall campaign preparation.
Work with United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, in collaboration with three of Nashville’s leading non-profit organizations, in a fast paced team environment. Develop a richer relationship between the participating federations in the MECC and MNPS Employee Giving Campaigns and their staff. Assist in relationship development with key leaders within Metro Government and MNPS. Enhance your marketing skills by assisting with the development of a customized plan that will produce results and increase engagement for all stakeholders including Metro Government and School staff during their Charity Campaigns.
