Major Giving to United Way

Major and leadership gifts are two of the most powerful ways to positively increase the organized capacity of people in Davidson County to care for one another.  Starting at gifts of $1,000, Leadership Giving is a powerful way to have an impact on the community and show you care. Starting at $10,000, major gifts are a way to ensure that United Way of Metropolitan Nashville can continue to make long lasting change in the community.

In 2008 major and leadership gifts totaled $8,447,442.  The 297 families and individuals that gave a major gift, amounting to $10,000 or more, contributed more than $5 million.  The 1782 donors who gave a leadership gift, gifts ranging from $1,000 – $9,999, totaled more than $3 million.
