Leadership Engagement offers an array of opportunities designed to help you get the most out of your partnership with United Way. After all, you’ve given us a generous gift — we want to ensure that YOU personally get a return on your investment, too. These include opportunities such as networking events with a focus on personal and professional development; Day of Action volunteer activities to give you a hands-on connection to United Way partner-agency work and leadership recognition communications.
R.H. Boyd Society
Minimum gift of $1,000.
A way for African-Americans and other like-minded individuals to connect and become more involved in philanthropic giving of money, time and talents to the community at large. Membership offers the opportunity for networking and volunteering.
Sennet Society
Minimum gift of $500.
Engages the capacities of young professionals as donors and volunteers for United Way of Metropolitan Nashville. Members enjoy social and networking events, as well as opportunities to interact with other young leaders.
Women United In Giving
Created in 2003 with a bold mission: to mobilize women to become powerful philanthropists and community change leaders. Our goals are twofold: to educate women about the opportunities for philanthropic involvement and civic leadership through their own fundraising, advocacy and volunteering; and to engage more women in United Way’s community transforming work.
