Women United in Giving

Women leading, inspiring and creating lasting change
United Way’s Women United in Giving mobilizes the collective power of women to strengthen our community through philanthropy, civic leadership, volunteerism and personal transformation. We’re working together to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks for a better life: education, financial stability and health.

The Women United in Giving Luncheon will raise funding to help combat the obesity crisis in Nashville by giving families the knowledge and resources to prepare healthy, affordable meals, and promote healthier living through positive, achievable lifestyle changes.

Join us as we Walk the Talk
You’re invited to join us at the annual Women United in Giving luncheon on November 2, 2011, at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel featuring Keynote Speaker and Honorary Chair Crissy Haslam, First Lady of Tennessee. Your donation of $150 (or $1,500 for a table of 10) means at-risk families will receive important information about nutritional, affordable and easy-to-prepare solutions to the ever-present question, “What’s for dinner?” All proceeds will benefit the Women United in Giving Family Teaching Kitchens initiative.
