United Way of Metropolitan Nashville values its partnership with traditional and online media and the energy they bring to informing readers, viewers, visitors, and listeners about opportunities to volunteer, advocate and give. Their efforts help advance the common good in our communities.

Some of our recent media partnerships include:

  • Several Newsmakers interviews with volunteers about United Way programs such as free tax prep sites, Read to Succeed and our annual campaign, courtesy of Comcast and WSMV - Channel 4.
  • Urban Outlook, a Ch.5+ program geared toward African Americans, featuring United Way volunteers Michael Carter and Tracy Pointer.
  • The Tennessean’s Action Line column and Season to Give series, featuring 17 United Way partner agencies and the programs in which United Way of Metropolitan Nashville invests dollars.

We appreciate the interest of all of our community’s media outlets! Thank you!
