CAMPAIGN CABINET & 2011 CAMPAIGN KICK OFFS

When companies commit to running a workplace campaign for United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, they are backed by an impressive team of corporate and community leaders known as the Campaign Cabinet. This group of volunteers is a critical component to having a well-run Campaign. Working closely with executive staff of Nashville-area companies, they assist in setting campaign goals and strategies which ultimately set the tone for the entire United Way Campaign. The cabinet informs, educates and excites key company representatives on the impact their dollars have on the community through United Way initiatives, as well as provide oversight and monitoring to ensure campaign success. The Campaign Cabinet delivers the tools and guidance needed to empower employees at all levels through the duration of the drive.

Now is the time to kick off your company’s United Way Campaign. Did you know that about half of the companies in Nashville who run United Way Campaigns have already begun planning their fall campaigns? Nearly 50 companies have increased their goals in both funds raised and employee participation. As a matter of fact, one company has already wrapped up their 2011 Campaign and exceeded their dollars raised from the previous year by 6% and reached their goal of 100% participation!
