Nashville, TN 37203

WHEN: Friday, March 26 TIME: 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHY: United Way is focused on four areas of need: education, health, neighborhoods and income. As a leading partner of the Nashville Alliance for Financial Independence, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville is presenting this youth-focused outreach event to help students and young people better understand the importance of financial stability — and to educate them about local resources such as free tax prep services and free, one-on-one budgeting sessions.

United Way is trying to reach working young people who often do not realize that they might qualify for a tax refund, especially if they think they aren’t earning enough to file. In these tough economic times, many people are becoming more mindful of ways to make the most of their money.
