United Way’s Boyd Society learns about impact of their philanthropy
December 08, 2009NASHVILLE, Tenn., December 8, 2009 – The annual thank you reception for members of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville’s R.H. Boyd Leadership Society was held recently at the home of Lee and Kelli Molette. Dr. and Mrs. T.B. Boyd hosted the event; the society is named in honor of Dr. Boyd’s great, great-grandfather. Lynn Stuart of United Way partner agency United Neighborhood Health Services spoke at the event about the impact their programs are making in the lives of young people through the generosity of donors such as R.H. Boyd Leadership Society members.
The R. H. Boyd Leadership Society honors the distinguished legacy of R.H. Boyd, a noted community minister, entrepreneur and philanthropist. The Society offers its members a range of unique opportunities for philanthropic giving, leadership and volunteering through United Way of Metropolitan Nashville.
