Thank you for LIVING UNITED by generously donating your time and resources to benefit Nashville kids. Your support and generosity helped provide 7,000 books to at-risk children in need. Thank you for your generosity and support in sharing the joy of reading all over Nashville!

We need books!
GIVE to Days of Action

Help United Way of Metropolitan Nashville share the joy of reading all over Nashville.

There are several ways to get involved:
-Read to kids as a Volunteer Reader!
-Interact with kids at the Dr. Seuss Activity Fair
-Sort donated books at the Sort-a-thon
-Purchase books from our amazon.com wish list
-Host a book drive with friends or co-workers
-SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE: Upload a photo of you reading to kids to the United Way Facebook page to show your support!
-Click here to download a custom Reading Days of Action Facebook cover photo that you can upload to your page to show your support!

We need books (up to a 3rd grade reading level)! Due to the wear-and-tear on books, we ask that all donated books be new or like new. Please drop off all donated books at our office by Wednesday, March 13.

Assist Read to Succeed students with Dr. Seuss crafts, games and activities, all in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Help sort collected books at the Books Sort-a-Thon on

11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Swing by for 20 minutes or stay an hour! Volunteers will sort donated books for distribution.

Thanks to our year-round partnership with Ingram Content Group, we can purchase 2 books for the price of 1 to benefit our Read to Succeed families!
