• Almost 600 boxes of food were collected and delivered
• Clients from 23 partner agencies benefitted
• Over 550 volunteer hours were donated in two days
• Over 70 local companies and organizations stepped up in support

The Event

Nearly 300 volunteers came out for the September Day of Action and the LIVE UNITED Community Rally, donating over 550 hours of service to those in our community suffering from hunger. Supported by over 70 local companies, 23 partner agencies received over 600 boxes of food! This Day of Action was a tremendous success, and served as a critical volunteer effort in response to the 65% increase in calls for food assistance to 2-1-1, United Way’s help line.
