The Event

Thank you, Nashville!

The 2010 March Day of Action and Campaign Celebration benefited book hungry children from nine United Way partner agencies:

  • Bethlehem Centers of Nashville
  • Eighteenth Avenue Family Enrichment Center
  • Fannie Battle Day Home for Children, Inc.
  • First Steps, Inc.
  • King’s Daughters Day Home
  • Martha O’Bryan Center, Inc.
  • McNeilly Center for Children
  • St. Luke’s Community Center
  • St. Mary Villa

Together, we made an impact on 1,200 children and families!

“The children and parents were so excited. Most of the children wore their backpacks home and were so proud of their new books. This creates such an excitement for the parents and children. I am sure that most of the parents read the books out loud that night. Thank you!”
—Joanne Chase, McNeilly Center for Children
