The Event

May 2009 Day of Action: Neighborhoods

“Radnor has done cleanups for many years and will continue to do so into the future. However, it was wonderful to have the United Way volunteers help us so we could do the entire neighborhood in ONE day!” Jim Frith, Radnor Neighborhood Association President

“SNAP (South Nashville Action People) has taken action on crime, neighborhood condition problems, and many other neighborhood issues since 1980. Many thanks to the United Way volunteers that partnered with us in a new challenge: cleaning and revitalizing our local creek!”

United Way would like to thank the following companies for their participation: Asurion Insurance Services, BB&T Insurance Services - Cooper Love Jackson Thornton & Harwell, Cummins, Inc., Gaylord Entertainment Company, Higher Ground Training, Inc., Mt. Calvary M.B. Church - Young Seeds of Abraham Mentor Program, Neighborhoods Resource Center, Second Chances, Target Stores of Nashville, White Thompson, and Willis North America, Inc.
