Seniors often need rides to the grocery store and to medical appointments, and transportation can be a challenge. Senior Ride Nashville is a ride assistance service that pairs a senior who needs a ride with a volunteer who can give one.

The Sexual Assault Center provides healing for children, adults and families affected by sexual assault and works to end sexual violence through counseling, education and advocacy.

Fannie Battle Day Home for Children

Fannie Battle Day Home for Children is an early childhood care center. Established in 1891, they continue a to serve Nashville families facing economic and educational hardships.

St. Luke's Community House is a community center located in West Nashville. They work to create a community where children, families and seniors from different backgrounds can easily access the resources needed to live fulfilling lives.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army works to fight poverty and prevent homelessness in our community. This Salvation Army location provides transitional housing for single men, single women, and families; after-school and summer day camp programs; emergency food; life skills training; and more.

The Oasis Center

The Oasis Center works to help young people in Middle Tennessee move into happy, healthy, and productive adulthood. With over 20 programs, they provide a wide range of resources including crisis intervention, emergency shelter for youth, youth leadership, and college & career access. Also see the Oasis Bike Workshop that empowers young people with alternative transportation while building their confidence.

The Next Door

The Next Door provides services to women who are impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma and/or incarceration. Services provided include medically monitored detoxification, residential drug & alcohol treatment, and a 6-month re-entry program.

Financial Independence Center

United Way's Financial Independence Center offers several programs that promote financial stability. The Financial Empowerment Program provides free one-on-one financial counseling to help people reduce debt, increase savings and reach their financial goals. United Way's VITA Free Tax Prep program is also offered at this location.

McGruder Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center works to make help more accessible for those who live nearby. Clients can access the computer lab, participate in cooking classes, receive free tax prep, enroll children in a summer camp, access the food bank, and much more.
