St. Luke's Community House is a community center located in West Nashville. They work to create a community where children, families and seniors from different backgrounds can easily access the resources needed to live fulfilling lives.

The Salvation Army works to fight poverty and prevent homelessness in our community. This Salvation Army location provides transitional housing for single men, single women, and families; after-school and summer day camp programs; emergency food; life skills training; and more.

Senior Ride Nashville

Senior Ride Nashville is a ride assistance service that pairs a senior who needs a ride with a volunteer who can give one. Seniors often need rides to the grocery store and to medical appointments, and transportation can be a challenge.

Fannie Battle

Fannie Battle Day Home for Children is an early childhood care center that implements United Way's Read to Succeed, a program that teaches early literacy skills for at-risk children so they are ready to succeed in school when they enter Kindergarten.

The Oasis Center

The Oasis Center works to help young people in Middle Tennessee move into happy, healthy, and productive adulthood. With over 20 programs, they provide a wide range of resources including crisis intervention, emergency shelter for youth, youth leadership, and college & career access. Also see the Oasis Bike Workshop that empowers young people with alternative transportation while building their confidence.

The Next Door

The Next Door provides services to women who are impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma and/or incarceration. Services provided include medically monitored detoxification, residential drug & alcohol treatment, and a 6-month re-entry program.

Bethany Christian Services

Bethany Christian Services is a global nonprofit organization that brings families together and keeps families together. Services include adoption, foster care, and pregnancy counseling. They also provide counseling to families, assist refugees and immigrants resettling in the U.S., and partner with several international countries to help keep families together.

The Sexual Assault Center provides healing for children, adults and families affected by sexual assault and works to end sexual violence through counseling, education and advocacy.

Financial Independence Center

United Way's Financial Independence Center offers several programs that promote financial stability. The Financial Empowerment Program provides free one-on-one financial counseling to help people reduce debt, increase savings and reach their financial goals. United Way's VITA Free Tax Prep program is also offered at this location.
