United Way is making a better Nashville by creating strategic, scalable solutions focused on education, financial stability, and health. These are the proven building blocks to a good life. Pathways to Empowerment
Changing lives, building futures together.
United Way's goal is to enable all children to succeed in their educational journey. Each of the steps along United Way's education pathway are strategic in building a child's chances for educational success, and combating the challenges that often impede that progress. Programs include Read to Succeed and Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee. We also work with 26 partner agencies to help students attain educational success from kindergarten to graduation.
United Way works to create stable financial futures for individuals and families. The solutions across this pathway provide Nashvillians opportunities to achieve long-term financial stability. Programs include VITA, the 2-1-1 Helpline, Bank On Music City and the Financial Empowerment Center. We also work with 29 partner agencies to help individuals increase their earning potential and foster long-term financial stability.
United Way works to provide Nashvillians with the tools they need to pursue healthy lifestyle choices. Along the Health pathway, individuals and families can find resources to improve their health and well-being. Programs include SPARK, the Family Empowerment Program and Family Resource Centers. We also work with 34 partner agencies to equip children and families with the education and resources to maintain healthy living.
We provide easy access to a wide range of opportunities to get involved.
