Volunteer

In honor of Country Music Hall of Fame member and children’s literacy advocate Dolly Parton, contribute to a new collaborative butterfly mural designed in the style of Eric Carle, writer and illustrator of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other children’s books.

Families are invited to add color and creativity to the project during museum programs in the first week of June. Children may also make a butterfly craft to take home and take a reading break during program times. The finished mural will be installed in the Taylor Swift Education Center, where families can learn about songwriting through hands-on activities.

Presented in partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
