Young Leaders Society

Together we will make a better Nashville

United Way's Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a network of passionate young professionals creating lasting impact in their communities. YLS is specifically designed to foster and develop today’s early to mid-career professionals into tomorrow’s community leaders while establishing a relationship for future giving. YLS provides the opportunity for members to enhance their skills to succeed at work and in the community. We focus on leadership development, volunteering and networking.

Membership is available to donors ages 45 or younger who pledge a minimum annual gift of $500 to United Way. In 2017, YLS had over 760 members from more than 50 local companies in the Nashville community.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Networking with like-minded professionals
  • Leadership development from key business and community leaders
  • Volunteer engagements impacting areas of education, financial stability and health
  • Quarterly newsletter from United Way highlighting the impact made in the Nashville community through your annual membership investment
